FOR THE WIN #SXSW

EventX attended to the SXSW (South by Southwest) Rotterdam pitch contest. We won the contest! This event was organized by "New Dutch Wave" and "De Gemeente Rotterdam"

EventX was selected to join the Google Spark program. We received credits to spend on the Google Cloud Platform (GPC) , data science tools and have direct access to Google engineers to build a massive scale and secure platform.

NFC READER PROTOTYPE

The research and development team finished the first prototype of the wireless autonomous NFC reader to deliver the optimal payment experience. The picture shows a protype and the actual product can look different.

WE WON THE CONTEST

EventX won the Capco Startup Pitch contest in London (September) . The jury consisted of influencers and industry leaders. Capco is a global FinTech consultancy firm with over 4.000 employees worldwide.

VISITOR WALLET APP

The first alpha version of the visitor wallet app is released for internal testing. The wallet app is build on React Native and is available for Android and iOS. Users can split bills, send & receive tokens and more.

FIRST STELLAR PAYMENT

The first payment with the NFC Wearable and the Point Of Sale (PoS) system succeeded. EventX offers fast and secure payments using the Stellar Distributed Ledger integrated in our core system.

POINT OF SALE (POS) APP

Our brand new point of sale (PoS) app is connected to a NFC reader and allow users to pay using the NFC wristband. The PoS app allows us to test and enhance the payment functionality on the platform.

EventX has an address now. We are located in the Cambridge Innovation Center (CIC) Rotterdam. This innovative place is perfect for (co-)working, meeting people and extend our knowledge.

TICKET
SALES

Buy & sell tickets via the in-app marketplace. Tickets are issued via a unique smart ticket on the blockchain. The identifier is transitioned from buyer to seller, secure, transparent and authentified.
